Logic Fail!

It's downright idiocy, if not lunacy. The claim that the recent price hike for petrol was to cut back on annual subsidy by a whole RM1.2 billion. Now don't get me wrong, as an economist, I view it as a positive move to not spoon feed and babysit our nation, lulling them into thinking that our lives can go on like this forever, but what irks me about the hike was the way the money saved was spent.
Ever wondered why such hike would cause total chaos among the nation? It's because of the natural way we have been oppressed, duped, conned and cheated all these while by the people in charge. You claim to save RM1.2 billion from the price hike, then what? Build a no-good, stupid RM5 billion tower that doesn't even help our economy one bit? Claims that the mega tower would spur economy, by all honesty, is not a lie, but the real question here is BY HOW MUCH? Looking at the facts and figure, we already have more than enough empty lots around us to be fully utilised before building more nonsensical good-for-nothing building just to show "Malay Supremacy". No, no, no, I'm not being racist here, but the past comments used during the UMNO general assembly stated that "It will be a mega tower built amongst the sea of non-bumi land" and that is their goal and aim all these while? To show that, you know, "WE TOWER OVER YOU, FOOLS!"
I'm sorry to say this, but many have been lulled and drugged into believing this is going to empower our economic stand further, but of course, we're doomed since favouritism has been practised ever since the recorded time in our national history, (not forgetting the fact that our history is biased too) because chances are any contract revolving around the tower will be awarded, not openly tendered, to BN cronies. It's just that simple. And few years down the road, expect yourself to equip yourself with an umbrella and walk into a rainforest called the the 100 storey mega tower as we'll only find leaks here, there and everywhere, just like how these buildings built in Malaysia have been.
Our trust has been undermined and we no longer are being considered. If that dude really regard us as a nation and values our every concern and thought, take a look at the god damn poll that shows how many people are against your stupid 100 storey Jenga block. If you're so eager to build a legacy of your own, rule fairly and just, then no one would even complain.
